
Matthew Joshua Cohen holds an MA in Educational Theatre in Colleges and Communities from NYU Steinhardt and a BA in Theatre and Music from Brandeis University. A Brooklyn native and a Vocal Music graduate of LaGuardia Arts HS (the “Fame” School), his professional stage credits include The Players Theatre’s A SYMPHONY FOR PORTLAND (Jordan), Drunk Musicals’ CAROUSEL (Mr. Snow), Manhattan Rep’s A HANSEL & GRETEL CHRISTMAS (Hansel), Theatre for the New City’s THE OPEN GATE (Dr. Zavatski), 13th St Rep’s RAPUNZARELLA WHITE (Barry/Syd), La Comedia Dinner Theatre’s THE ADDAMS FAMILY (Pugsley), the pilot college tour version of Soho Playhouse’s BILL W AND DR. BOB (Dr. Bob Smith), Gene Frankel Theatre’s RAVEL and CZESTOCHOWA MUSICAL CHAIRS, Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre’s THE ALBATROSS, Myriad Opera’s Cavalleria Rusticana and Tosca, and more. In addition to the stage, Matthew sings professionally in various choral settings. Matthew is a member of AEA.
